However, you should stay away from quick carbs that cause your blood sugar level to increase fast. High blood sugar will cause your body to store this sugar as fat. The most significant sources of quick carbos is refined sugar and refined flour such as wheat. Excessive consumption of these will most likely increase your body fat level, and you should try to avoid these. Processed foods in general often have lots of quick carbs. Instead, to lose your belly, try to focus on good carbs in your diet. You will find them in vegetables, fruits, beans and whole grains.
Water
Drink 2 litres of water every day. Water will suppress your hunger, give you more energy and will be better for your metabolism. Green tea is a good alternative, and could speed up your process of losing you belly even more.
